My dad passed away on 4-21-2025, and my stepmom contacted Kent-Forest Lawn to make arrangements for my dad. John Webb immediately responded and has been so kind and compassionate throughout the whole process. John has gone above and beyond through this process. And has helped my stepmom in all processes and giving us much needed information. He is the most compassionate and is very about funeral process and is very understanding through this time of grief. I would definitely recommend John Webb and Kent Forest Lawn to anyone who needs this type of service in the future. Thank you again for all you have done for the Jones family.
I just wanted to thank Kent Lawn for their execellent services they have provided us through out the years. First my father, then my son and of late my mother Janet. From the beginning of the process when my mom passed, they were empathetic, patient and professional. My mom looked beautiful and at peace, The vistiation, service and buriel went seamlessly. Special thanks to Brian Gallagher and the staff at the Memorial Gardens. And thank you Greg for always looking after our family.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about how everyone at Kent-Forest Lawn, especially Bill Jones and Yerania Torres helped us through this difficult and sad occasion when my mom Shirley Harris passed away on February 9, 2025. We live out of state and appreciated so much the kindness and help we were given to arrange for the funeral service. We also want to thank Charlie Hertel for helping us with our pre-arrangements last spring. Thank you for everything.
A huge thank you to Kent Forrest Lawn and our director, John Webb! Mom, Doris Stovall was laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Freddie J Stovall, Sr. today, John went above and beyond, paying attention to every detail the family requested. We were not the most organized group of people to deal with, but he carried out all of our wishes and made sure Mom's last wishes were carried out. Thank you so much for being professional and personal in every aspect of this journey! The service was beautiful!
I can’t thank Kent Forest Lawn enough. 3 years ago we laid my papa to rest and yesterday we laid our granny to rest. Their staff went above and beyond for us in such a difficult time in our lives. They made the process as smooth and as quickly as we needed for closure! We will forever be grateful and 10/10 recommended Mr. Brian and his staff! Thank you guys! We appreciate you!
I want to give a shout out to Kent-Forest Funeral home and some of the staff members who helped me with obtaining my father's cremated remains from a 20-year previous interment so I can transfer them to Arlington National Cemetery. Charlie Hertel was instrumental in my quest for this endeavor along with Bill Jones. They kept me informed of the process all along the way and made my two-day round trip from Maryland incident free. Also, a special thanks to Rusty, Scott and Mark for the diligent efforts in obtaining my father's military grave marker so I could take it with me along with my father's ashes. The professionalism displayed by Kent-Forest during my father's funeral and for his disinterment is a testament to their caring attitude and efforts to ensure the best outcome during trying times in the life of Panama City and Bay County Florida. I do salute you. Thanks!
Katherine McKenzie, Family Service Counselor, and Stephanie Underwood, Funeral Director at Kent Forest Lawn make up a knowledgeable and caring team. I lost my husband of 54 years suddenly, and my adult children lost their loving father unexpectedly. We were in a state of shock, accompanied by unimaginable grief. Katherine and Stephanie, patient and kind, guided us through the process. After learning about our loved one’s life and career, his wishes, and our ideas, they put it all together. We walked away feeling we made decisions uniquely for him, just as he would plan. Thank you for all you did and continue to do for us. Margie, Josie, and John
My brother, Patrick, passed away unexpectedly on April 22, 2024. We were fortunate that he was transported to the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home. My original contact with the Funeral Home staff began with true expressions of sensitivity and care. Brian Gallagher became my main point of contact. His comforting words and exceptional assistance made the sad task of making our brother's final arrangements bearable. Brian's supportive assistance was a true blessing at a most difficult time. He was in the thick of things daily and he never missed an opportunity to keep me posted on how things were progressing. All of Brian's help resulted in everything coming to closure with me feeling very fortunate to have my brother's final care handled by the kind, sensitive professionals at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A special expression of gratitude goes to Brian Gallagher.
We have had FOUR of our family members pass away and have used Kent-Forest Lawn for all four. Brian handled three of the four, beginning in 2006-we had both our fathers pass and Sept 2022-my brother). Brian has done an excellent job in handling our needs and griefs. He always went above and beyond to make sure we were always comfortable and when I would call, he would always return my call or text. Brian is a very big asset to the company.
Scott handled my mother's funeral in May 2021. He was equally as helpful and caring. He always would answer any questions or return any calls immediately. He too is an asset to the company.
Yerania has been a sweetheart through it all. I will be forever grateful for her making it possible for us to have a burial plot NEXT to my parents (which my parents bought their plot roughly 25-30 years ago). She always was there for us with her comfort.
Thank you to all of you!
Tammy and Kenny Wilkerson
My father passed away very unexpectedly while we were on vacation in Panama City Beach. Originally from South Carolina. I had asked our ER nurse what funeral home he had used for his family. He without hesitation he said Kent. I am so glad I listened to him. Kelly and Scott went up and above for us. We wanted to cremate my father before leaving the state, we were not going to leave without him. Kelly and Scott made that happen in a very quick manner. When I went to pick up my father from Kent, I was just so upset to be carrying my father in a box that I forgot about the death certificates. It was 8pm when I remembered I had forgotten them. I called Kent at 8pm and Scott told me he would meet me there in 15 min so I could get them. So he came in after hours to make sure I got what I needed. On top of the excellent care and compassion we received, the place is truly beautiful. Very well taken care of. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I wish there was one here in South Carolina. Thank you to all the staff here that made this very difficult time on us a little easier. Thank you Kelly and Scott from the bottom of the Clemons/Behel family hearts.
Mr Brian Gallagher Was Very Helpful When Doing My Husband's Arrangements Very Helpful And Explained Every Detail Thank You Mr Gallagher
